Rostec is preparing to launch serial production of Ka-62 multipurpose helicopters.
In November last year, the car completed a big stage in its history - it received a type certificate, and in 2022 the first deliveries of the Ka-62 to customers are already planned.
Among the main areas of application of the new helicopter are passenger transportation, rescue operations, and work in the oil and gas field. However, once the history of the Ka-62 began with the development of an army helicopter.
The helicopter has a high cruising speed (290 km / h) and a high proportion of composites in the structure, up to 50%. The Ka-62 is equipped with a wheeled chassis of increased energy intensity, has a reinforced fuselage structure and attachment points of the main units and shock-absorbing seats for the crew and passengers.
In addition, the Ka-62 is equipped with a modern avionics complex – the latest control system for general-purpose aircraft equipment has allowed to reduce the load on the crew, reduce the weight of the machine and facilitate its maintenance, Rostec said.
