The crews of the assault aviation of the Eastern Military District (VVO) worked out the destruction of equipment and fortifications of the conditional enemy. Pilots of Russian Su-25 attack aircraft used bombs and cannon weapons during exercises in Primorsky Krai. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the VVO.
The exercises of the Su-25 pilots were held at the Novoselsky training ground. The press service noted that during the training, the crews carried out bombing from a horizontal position on targets that imitated the command and observation posts of a conditional enemy. The pilots also practiced the use of cannon weapons to defeat lightly armored vehicles.
The press service of the Air Force noted that the pilots worked out the performance of paired flights and flights to a given area. As part of the exercise, the Su-25 crews carried out more than 30 sorties.
Earlier, the crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers of the Aviation Division of the Central Military District worked out overcoming enemy air defenses and destroying aircraft.
