VLADIVOSTOK, January 17 - RIA Novosti. The pilots of the assault aviation of the Eastern Military District (VVO) dropped bombs on training facilities and fired at the equipment of the conditional enemy as part of the exercises at the aviapoligon in Primorsky Krai, the press service of the VVO reports.
The training took place at the Novoselsky aviation training ground.
"During the combat training activities, the pilots of the Su-25 "Grach" attack aircraft of the aviation unit carried out bombing from horizontal flight at targets simulating command and observation posts, and also practiced the use of cannon weapons on columns of lightly armored vehicles of a conditional enemy," the report says.
Also, the pilots worked out the tasks of flying to a given area, performing pair flights.
As part of the training flights for combat use, the flight crew of the assault aviation performed more than 30 sorties.
