ROSTOV-ON-DON, January 17. /tass/. Tactical flight exercises of the helicopter regiment of the army aviation were held in the Krasnodar Territory, the press service of the Southern Military District (SE) told reporters on Monday. Crews of more than 30 helicopters took part in the exercises.
"During the exercise, the crews made single and group flights with the development of actions for reconnaissance and cover of strategic objects. Also, during joint training flights, pilots on Ka-52 "Alligator" and Mi-28 "Night Hunter" helicopters worked out combat support and fire support for Mi-8 AMTSH "Terminator" helicopters performing conditional landing of personnel," the report says.
The press service clarified that more than 30 helicopters of the army aviation regiment of the 4th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense took part in the exercises. Flights were carried out both during the day and at night.
The crews of the Ka-52 helicopters as part of the link also worked out elements of complex aerobatics, conducting air combat at low altitudes. At the final stage of the exercises, the pilots performed practical firing, having worked out strikes with unguided aircraft missiles at ground targets simulating firing points of a conditional enemy.
