MOSCOW, January 15. /tass/. The highest credit rating will allow Roscosmos to issue bonds to attract investment if necessary. This was announced by the First Deputy Director General of Roscosmos Maxim Ovchinnikov.
"In fact, we received the highest rating as a borrower. And we can use this rating when issuing bonds and borrowing funds in the banking market," Ovchinnikov said on the air of the Big Cosmos program on the Roscosmos TV YouTube channel.
According to him, the rating applies not only to the state corporation, but also to its main subsidiaries. In the future, Ovchinnikov is convinced, this will allow saving on servicing credit funds.
"If there is such a need, we will be able to issue bonds, attracting investments, including private investments and foreign investments. This may be required when implementing large-scale investment projects that we plan to implement in the future," the first deputy director explained.
In December 2021, the analytical credit rating agency (ACRA) and the Expert RA agency assigned Roscosmos a credit rating of AAA (RU), the forecast is "stable".
