Vladivostok. January 14th. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - The crews of the frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov, as well as the corvettes Gremyashchy and Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov conducted an air defense training in Primorsky Krai, the press service of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) reported on Friday.
"According to the plan of the exercise, the aircraft of the conditional enemy attempted an air raid on the main base of the Pacific Fleet," the report says.
The crews of the warships worked out the procedure of actions during the air attack. The air defense calculations of the warships promptly detected and escorted virtual targets, and when approaching a sufficient distance, they conditionally destroyed them.
