SEVASTOPOL, January 13. /tass/. The crew of the logistics vessel Vsevolod Bobrov completed the transition from the Baltic Sea and arrived in Novorossiysk. This was reported to journalists on Thursday in the press service of the Black Sea Fleet.
"The logistics support vessel Vsevolod Bobrov has arrived at the permanent deployment point at the Novorossiysk Naval Base. The crew completed the inter-fleet transition from the Baltic to the Black Sea Fleet together with the mine defense ship "Georgy Kurbatov," the message says.
The vessel Vsevolod Bobrov was accepted into the Navy in August, the St. Andrew's flag was raised on it, the press service recalled. During the transition to the Black Sea, the crew performed tasks in various sailing conditions and confirmed their readiness to work in stormy conditions.
The project of the vessel was developed by the St. Petersburg Design Bureau "Spetssudoproekt", its displacement is 9.5 thousand tons, the cruising range is more than 5 thousand miles, the autonomy is 60 days. The vessel is intended for cargo transportation, towing, hydrographic research, assistance to ships in distress. The hull is designed to overcome ice 0.6 m thick.
