Rostec will create a simulator to improve the efficiency of maintenance of the Su-35 and Su-57
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) of Rostec State Corporation is working on a VR simulator for training technical personnel. The use of virtual reality technologies will improve the efficiency of servicing Russian Su-35 and Su-57 aircraft. This is reported on the website of the state corporation.
The simulator includes a virtual reality helmet, controllers and a computer with a program that recreates the aviation complex. This will allow you to virtually work out all the technological processes of aircraft maintenance.
Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy Director General of Rostec State Corporation, noted that the promising complex is designed to test the maintenance of Su-35 and Su-57 fighters. He said that the tests of the complex are planned to be completed in 2022.
In December, it became known about the creation of a VR simulator for miners. The development of the Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) allows you to simulate emergency situations at the mine.
In November, the project of using augmented reality in the assembly of the Su-57 received the main award of the UAC competition. A promising technology will allow you to superimpose a digital model of the unit on a real object.
