The tasks were worked out within the framework of the first combat training flights in 2022
YEKATERINBURG, January 12. /tass/. The crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers of the Aviation Division of the Central Military District (CVO) overcame the air defense systems and destroyed the airfield and the planes of the conditional enemy during the first combat training flights in 2022. This is stated in a message distributed on Wednesday by the press service of the district.
"As part of the task development, the crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers carried out about 20 bomb attacks on the conditional objects of the enemy's airfield infrastructure and carried out more than 30 launches of unguided C-13 air-to-surface missiles," the report says.
As noted, when approaching the area of combat training tasks, the pilots overcame the echeloned air defense system with the help of the Khibiny radio-electronic complex, operating at the maximum permissible minimum altitude of about 50 m.
It is clarified that in order to effectively open the air defense of the "enemy", the crews flew from various directions. The pilots carried out bombing strikes sequentially from horizontal flight, and missile strikes from diving at predetermined targets.
12 units of aviation equipment were involved in the exercises of the crews of operational and tactical aviation, which took place near Kurgan: Su-34 fighter-bombers and Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft, about 20 units of ground equipment and about 150 military personnel from among the flight, engineering and technical personnel, control and flight support groups.
