The newest mine defense ship "Georgy Kurbatov" was built at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard and accepted into the Black Sea Fleet in August 2021. He became the third ship of the project 12700, performing tasks in the Black Sea Fleet.

The displacement of the Georgy Kurbatov is 890 tons, length - 61 m, width - 10 m, speed at full displacement - 16.5 knots, crew - over 40 people. The ship has high maneuverability due to the use of an effective complex of various thrusters.
