Khabarovsk. January 12. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - Su-35 fighters have begun training flights in the Khabarovsk Territory, the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO) reports.
The pilots of the fighter aviation unit of the Air Force stationed in the Khabarovsk Territory, during training flights, performed figures of the highest and complex aerobatics on modern fighters of the generation "4++" Su-35," the message says.
It is noted that the pilots performed piloting at minimum and supersonic speeds "using a device to change the thrust vector of aircraft engines of combat aircraft." In addition, the pilots trained elements of air combat with the interception of high-altitude high-speed targets.
The press service of the Air Defense Ministry also informs that during the flights, elements of pre-launch preparation of air-to-air missiles and the practical use of electronic warfare were worked out.
As reported, several multi-purpose fighters of the "4++" generation Su-35 were delivered from the Komsomolsk-on-Amur plant to the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Eastern Military District at the end of 2020. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that this delivery completed a five-year contract, under which 50 Su-35 aircraft entered combat duty in the combat regiments of the Russian Aerospace Forces by the end of 2020.
