TSAMTO, January 10. In 2022, the newest corvette "Sharp" will join the ship composition of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) and the submarine of project 636.3 "Magadan", which has already been accepted into the Pacific Fleet, will arrive at a permanent base from the Baltic Fleet.
The Sharp corvette is currently located in Vladivostok at the delivery base of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (ASZ). The new building is undergoing a stage of mooring tests, and at the end of January, the first independent exit of the corvette for state sea trials is planned.
The third submarine of Project 636.3 "Magadan" joined the Pacific Fleet on October 12 during the solemn ceremony of raising the St. Andrew's flag in the Baltic Fleet. After making an inter-fleet transition to the Pacific Fleet, similar to the transition of the first two boats of this project, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Volkhov, the Magadan submarine will begin performing tasks for its intended purpose as part of the Pacific Fleet in the Far East, the Information Support Department of the Primorsky Region (Vladivostok) said on January 9.
