TSAMTO, January 10. Medical units of the Western Military District (ZVO) received a batch of nine self-dressing modules (AP-3) for equipment.
The AP-3 auto-binding is a container of variable volume on a basic automobile chassis with pneumatic tents and modern medical equipment.
The new medical complex is designed to ensure that the forces and means of the medical service approach the areas of mass sanitary losses in order to provide first aid to the wounded during combat operations.
The personnel of the AP-3 provides primary health care to up to seven wounded per hour. The stock of medical equipment and materials ensures the duration of work for at least a day in offline mode.
In the near future, the new complexes will be tested during tactical and special exercises and field exits at the landfills of the district.
In total, about 1,4 thousand units of modern weapons and military equipment were received by the troops of the Eastern Military District in 2021, the press service of the district said on January 7.
