"In the formations and military units of the Guards Tank Red Banner Army of the Western Military District, in the units of radiation, chemical and biological protection, a deep modernization of weapons and military equipment will take place, taking into account the epidemiological situation in the world," the message says.
In particular, in a separate RCBZ regiment in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the kit of the KLP-1O field laboratory will be upgraded - thanks to the new equipment, it will be possible to do PCR analysis on COVID-19.
In addition, the ZVO tank army will update disinfection equipment - the ARS-13 auto-filling stations will be replaced with modern multifunctional ARS-14KM, which "will improve the quality and volume of special treatment of military units and public places," the press service said.
Modern automatic filling stations ARS-14KM based on the KamAZ-5350 all-terrain vehicle are used for sanitary treatment of territories - the military use special disinfectant solutions that allow destroying more than 95% of all known pathogens.
