YEKATERINBURG, January 3. /tass/. The Central Military District (CVO) has prepared over 110 consolidated detachments in 29 garrisons to eliminate possible emergencies and incidents in 2022. This was announced by the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.
"In order to promptly respond to crisis situations of both natural and man-made nature, 114 consolidated detachments in 29 garrisons on the territory of the military district are kept on four-hour alert," he said.
The press service of the Central Military District clarified that specialists have prepared more than 1.7 thousand units of special equipment, 10 Mi-8 helicopters with APU-5 spillways and four transport aircraft. A grouping of unmanned aerial vehicles has been formed to monitor the situation.
The Central Military District is stationed on the territory of three federal districts and 29 subjects of the Russian Federation. The district structurally includes a number of foreign facilities: the 201st military base on the territory of Tajikistan, a joint military base in Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan. The headquarters is located in Yekaterinburg.
