MOSCOW, December 30/ Sputnik Radio. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the establishment of the Pipeline Troops Day in the armed forces.
The relevant document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"To establish the Day of Pipeline Troops in the armed forces of the Russian Federation and celebrate it on January 14," the text of the decree says.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, these troops deploy field trunk pipelines and supply fuel to military units, army bases and warehouses through them.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, warned about the upcoming US provocation in the Donbass.
