TSAMTO, December 30. More than 50 units of rocket and artillery weapons were delivered in 2021 to formations and military units stationed on the territory of the Central Military District (CVO).
A large amount of equipment was transferred to the training center for the combat use of rocket troops and artillery in the Saratov region: about 20 units of anti-tank missile systems "Sturm-S", "Chrysanthemum", self-propelled howitzers "Acacia", "Carnation", "Malka", as well as reconnaissance points and observation vehicles.
The formations and military units of the military district stationed in the regions of the Urals, Siberia and the Volga region also received radar stations "Aistenok", "Sobolyatnik-O", "Fara", sonometric complexes and other equipment for monitoring the situation, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
The Central Military District is stationed on the territory of three federal districts and 29 subjects of the Russian Federation. The district structurally includes a number of foreign facilities: the 201st military base on the territory of Tajikistan, a joint military base in Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan. The headquarters is located in Yekaterinburg.
