It became known which tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and self-propelled guns in 2021 received the troops of the ZVO

In the outgoing year, units and formations of the Western Military District received 1,400 units of modern weapons and military equipment. This is reported by the press service of the ZVO.

Thus, the share of modern samples of all types of weapons and military equipment for land, sea and aviation components has been brought to 72%, and for some samples - up to 100%.

Communications units, the Army of the Air Force and air Defense, as well as special purpose units are equipped with the most modern equipment in the district's troops. In them, the share of the latest and modern weapons has approached 100%.

Among the main types of weapons and military equipment received in 2021 are T-80BVM, T-72B3M, BTR-82AM tanks, Msta-SM2 self-propelled artillery units, RCB protection equipment, armored multipurpose vehicles, as well as satellite and radio communication complexes.
