Serbian Defense Minister: Army chooses between Russian and French planes
The Serbian Armed Forces analyze proposals before purchasing fighter jets. The military is considering French Dassault Rafale, which will compete with Russian aircraft. This was announced by the country's Defense Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic on national television, TASS reports.
"They are currently more in favor of taking Rafale fighters, that is, French-made, but when they make a final conclusion, when they finish all the analysis, we will see what the army will choose. We are talking about very expensive things," the minister said, answering the question about the choice of fighters.
Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Indonesian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Fajar Prasetyo, announced the rejection of plans to purchase Russian Su-35. The Indonesian military will consider the Boeing F-15EX Eagle II and Dassault Rafale. Later, the Russian ambassador in Jakarta noted that the Russian side had not received official reports about the rejection of the Su-35.
In November, Dassault Aviation announced that Croatia had signed a contract for the purchase of Rafale fighters. The new aircraft will replace the Soviet MiG-21 of the country's Air Force.
In October, Yugoimport presented a new modification of the Lazar III A1 armored personnel carrier at the Partner-2021 exhibition. The car received a Russian remotely controlled combat module 32B01.
