"No one in the world has yet created a submarine like a Shark"

Sevmash CEO Mikhail Budnichenko said that no fleet in the world yet has ships similar to the Dmitry Donskoy strategic missile carrier of Project 941 of the Shark type.

"I think that the Dmitry Donskoy nuclear submarine is a grandiose nuclear-powered vessel. Only a great country could implement such a project. No other fleet in the world has such ships and will not have them in the near future," Budnichenko said in an interview with TASS.

December 29 marks the 40th anniversary of the day when the acceptance certificate of the cruiser Dmitry Donskoy (TK-208) was signed, on which the Bulava intercontinental ballistic missiles were tested.

The submarine is currently part of the Northern Fleet.
