According to the press service of the Southern Military District, in total, the pilots made about 70 scheduled sorties.
- Pilots on Su-25SM3 and Su-25SM attack aircraft launched a missile and bomb attack on the combat formations of a conditional enemy at an aviation training ground at night during special flight training classes, - the military district said in a statement.
Training took place both day and night, about 20 pilots participated in them. The most difficult tasks for training were night actions: take-off and landing on a lighted strip and more than 350 bombing and launches of unguided missiles at armored ground targets.
The pilots also practiced piloting at an altitude of up to 4 thousand meters at different speeds and elements of air combat. In addition, the pilots trained movement as part of a flight on the Su-25 CM3 - horizontal and vertical "barrels", turns, Nesterov loop, dive "slides" with large tilt angles, combat turns.
