TSAMTO, December 24. According to the delivery plan of the main samples of VIVT, in 2021, three new and three upgraded radar stations (radars) "Sky" and "Casta" entered service with the radio engineering troops of the Central Military District.
This made it possible to strengthen the control of airspace in the Volga region and Siberia.
The new Nebo-UT and Kasta-2-2 mobile radar stations, which have entered service with radio engineering regiments in the Samara and Novosibirsk regions, are equipped with improved data processing systems and allow more accurate determination of the altitude and range of air targets. In addition, the fleet of radio engineering troops of the Central Military District has been replenished with three upgraded mobile radars "Sky-M", capable of detecting aerial objects at a distance of about 2000 km, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
