Combat firing boats of the KCR-60M project of the Indonesian Navy were shown on video. During the exercises, the AU-220M automatic installation, created in the joint stock company "Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" (Nizhny Novgorod), was involved among the weapons samples on board.
Its 57-mm gun fired live shells at targets, and precise guidance was carried out through the sight's television channel.
Compared with land-based versions, the marine version of the installation, designed for mounting on surface ships with a displacement of 150 tons, has a rate of fire reaching 120 rounds per minute.
The total ammunition is 148 rounds. The maximum firing range is 9000 meters. Vertical pointing angles: -5 ...+75, on the horizon - ± 140 degrees.
The installation is capable of effectively fighting surface, air and coastal targets, its mass with a reserve of shells is 8000 kg.
Interestingly, earlier Bofors L/70 40-mm guns were used on boats of this project, which are significantly inferior in their capabilities to Russian developments.
During this outing, the crew also used other artillery weapons: the Serbian 20-mm M71/08 and the Chinese six-barreled 30-mm NG-18, which is a copy of the Russian AK-630.
The Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" has also created land versions of this installation. For example, one of the modifications was installed on Object 149 - a promising heavy infantry fighting vehicle T-15 on the Armata platform. These infantry fighting vehicles have been repeatedly demonstrated at the International Military-technical Forums "Army".
There is also an anti-aircraft complex "Derivation-air defense" on the BMP-3 chassis. It was reported that special "smart" projectiles with controlled detonation were created for him.
