The share of modern models of VIV in the security and intelligence units of the Strategic Missile Forces increased significantly in 2021, which made it possible to increase the security of military facilities, as well as the possibility of timely detection of DRG on the routes of combat patrol of missile systems.
In the formations of the Strategic Missile Forces, Typhoon-M combat anti-sabotage vehicles are being delivered as planned for the protection and reconnaissance of the combat patrol routes of the Yars missile complex. They will be delivered to all units that are being retrofitted to the modern Yars PGRC.
The combat vehicle is designed to conduct reconnaissance in positional areas in the radar, optical and infrared wave ranges, as well as combat sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy.
The uniqueness of the Typhoon-M BPDM lies in its equipment with the most modern intelligence systems, as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle that allows you to detect and monitor a simulated enemy's DRG at various distances.
Further entry into the troops of the Typhoon-M BPDM is planned taking into account the rearmament of the Strategic Missile Forces with the modern Yars missile system, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
