TSAMTO, December 21. As part of the implementation of the state defense order, the supply of command and staff control vehicles to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continues, meeting all modern requirements in the field of automation of fire control of artillery units.
A few days ago, a solemn ceremony was held on the basis of the 25 arsenal for the transfer of the next batch of military equipment to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus by the manufacturer, which is part of the Goskomvoenprom system, as part of eight modernized command and staff vehicles of the automated fire control complex of the artillery division.
The equipment intended for arming artillery groups of mechanized brigades was handed over by the head of the missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces - the head of the Missile Forces and Artillery Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Gennady Kozlovsky and the director of the manufacturing company, which is part of the Goskomvoenprom system, Nikolay Baligatov.
Specialists of enterprises of one of the holdings in the Goskomvoenprom system created a modern automated complex.
Their work is based on new domestic technical achievements and unique software solutions.
In the course of a deep modernization, engineers left only a tracked chassis from the basic time-tested command and staff vehicle. The technical equipment of the command control vehicles was replaced almost completely with high-tech components of domestic production.
The products are equipped with modern means of communication and data transmission, intelligence, navigation and orientation systems, and an autonomous power supply system.
In addition, a group of programmers from one of the holding companies created a unique Centurion software – fundamentally new protocols for information and technical interface were written, special application software and software for monitoring the operation of technical means were created.
At the same time, in case of failure of the digital system in a combat situation, the developers did not exclude from the KSM equipment the appropriate devices and technical means that allow solving the tasks of training and fire control of an artillery formation in traditional ways.
Practical testing of Centurion products in the conditions of the test site showed that their use allows the commander to significantly reduce the time to make a decision on the use of weapons, thereby expanding the combat capabilities of artillery units in the operational solution of tasks.
