In Ukraine, a local businessman Nazar Dibrov organized an "exhibition" of inflatable tanks, which were made by order of the Ministry of Defense of the country.
This is reported by RIA Novosti.
The man complained that representatives of the military department refused to accept the order, despite the fact that "everything was done according to the specification."
"Last year, the military unit 1890 announced a tender for the purchase of inflatable models of tanks. I won the tender, they sewed it to order, but the customer did not accept the goods, they said that it did not look like it. According to the requirements of both the fabric and the size, everything corresponds. But according to their subjective opinion, well, they said it didn't look like it," Dibrov said.
As stated in the publication, the businessman appealed to the court with a corresponding claim, but the meetings are constantly postponed.
He also talked to the customer, went to the Ministry of Defense, but nothing brought results. That is why the entrepreneur decided to put inflatable tanks in the center of Kiev to attract public attention.
"The budget was for 1 million 200 thousand hryvnias. For the FOP— this is a large amount, especially since it is a state order, it is postpaid. I invested all my money, I also took a loan, and for a year now the tanks have been in stock. Since they were made to order, they are no longer needed by anyone, only by this customer," Dibrov summed up.
