Experts find out the causes of the problems that have arisen
BEIJING, December 15. /tass/. The Chinese space company ExPace on Wednesday carried out an unsuccessful launch of two GeeSAT satellites. This was reported on Wednesday by the Xinhua news agency.
It is specified that the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket with commercial satellites launched on Wednesday from the Jiuquan cosmodrome (Gansu Province) at 10:00 local time (05:00 Moscow time). Some time after the start, the technical indicators of the devices began to deviate from the norm.
Currently, experts are investigating the causes of the problems. No other details are given.
Work on the creation of the Kuaizhou launch vehicle has been carried out since 2009 by the Chinese Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The space carrier was developed on the basis of a two-stage medium-range ballistic missile "Dongfeng-21" with the addition of two upper stages. In November 2014, Kuaizhou was presented to the general public at the China International Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai.
