TSAMTO, December 15. The newest patrol ship (PC) of project 22160 "Sergey Kotov", built for the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet), made the transition from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol.
During the fourth target launch of the ship into the sea in conditions of a real sea crossing with a length of more than 200 nautical miles, the crew checked the reliability and viability of power plants and navigation equipment, as well as controllability and stability in case of loss of speed.
Earlier, as part of the factory sea trials, the crew of the Sergei Kotov PC conducted test firing from the AK-176 artillery installation and other weapons of the ship, and also underwent primary electromagnetic processing to reduce the magnetization of the hull.
After the sea trials, the shipbuilders, together with the crew, will conduct an audit of ship systems, devices and mechanisms and continue its preparation for the next stage of state tests, after which the Sergei Kotov PC will become part of the Black Sea Fleet with a permanent base in Novorossiysk.
