TSAMTO, December 15. The Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Russian Helicopters Holding has completed the next stage of certification work to increase the resources of the main units of the Ansat helicopter.
Rosaviation has issued the appropriate approvals of the main changes (OGI) of the standard design. The achieved indicators increase the commercial attractiveness and competitiveness of the helicopter in the domestic and global market.
Certification works included a complex of fatigue and equivalent-cyclic tests of Ansat helicopter units both in the dynamic testing laboratory of the enterprise and in the KNITU-KAI branch laboratory, with the preparation of the necessary evidentiary documentation.
"The increase in the resources of the Ansat helicopter units significantly affects the reduction in the cost of its flight hour. Work in this direction has been carried out systematically and in stages for several years, which undoubtedly increases the competitiveness of the Ansat helicopter," said Nikolay Kolesov, General Director of the Russian Helicopters holding.
In accordance with the updated certificate, the assigned resource of the tail boom of the helicopter has been increased from 3000 to 4000 hours, the assigned resource of the main rotor sleeve units - from 4000 to 5000 hours, the resource before the first overhaul of the main gearbox BP-23A and connecting shafts SV-23 - from 1750 to 2000 hours, and their assigned resource - from 3500 to 4000 hours.
In total, in 2021, ten approvals were received for the main changes to the standard design of the Ansat helicopter. The plans of the Kazan Helicopter Plant Design Bureau include a further gradual increase in the resources and service life of the helicopter and its units, both of its own production and purchased components. In particular, in 2022, work is planned to increase the life of vibration dampers, skid landing gear, tail boom and a number of other units and components of the helicopter.
