Deputy Head of the Defense Ministry Krivoruchko said that the Hunter UAV is superior to foreign analogues
Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko compared the S-70 Hunter strike unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with foreign analogues. He said that the Russian development surpasses the development of competitors. This is reported by Interfax .
"Advanced achievements of enterprises and organizations of the domestic defense industrial complex are concentrated in the UAV, which made it possible to provide functionality that is not inferior, but in a number of parameters surpassing the few foreign analogues," the deputy minister told reporters during a working trip to Novosibirsk.
Krivoruchko noted that it is impossible to assemble the Hunter from the components available on the market. According to him, the production of a drone requires a developed aviation industry.
Earlier, the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant (NAZ) named after Chkalov [...] rolled out the S-70 Hunter attack drone. The first flight sample of an unmanned vehicle received a flat nozzle.
In October, the S-70 Hunter was called a problem for the United States and NATO. The publication 19FortyFive noted the speed and high autonomy of the device. The publication notes that the UAV can carry up to two tons of bomb load.
