TSAMTO, December 14. The gunners of the Ussuri separate Guards amphibious assault unit practiced the skills of artillery calculations at command and observation posts and firing positions, as well as conducting fire adjustments from 122-mm D-30 howitzers on a simulator.
During the classes in a specialized classroom, the newest simulator was used to train artillery specialists in shooting and fire control "Arterra-VT-3D".
The Arterra computer artillery range allows you to conduct virtual classes and trainings on shooting and controlling all types of fire, implementing any method of firing various types of ammunition in real time.
The polygon allows you to simulate fire day and night on all types of terrain, in any weather, as well as recreate any terrain using data from electronic topographic maps.
The virtual training ground allows you to conduct training in artillery specialties without going to field ranges, thereby allowing you to significantly save the motor resource of military equipment and fuel, and at the same time not reduce the quality of training specialists. Arterra is a complex of software and hardware, including automated workstations of the head of the class and trainees.
The complex allows you to perform training fire tasks of any complexity in real time, simultaneously with artillery barrel, mortar and rocket batteries, according to the Information Support Group of Airborne troops.
