Blagoveshchensk. December 13. INTERFAX-FAR EAST - Military personnel of a separate electronic warfare (EW) unit of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) suppressed the communication system of a conditional enemy using the Palantin complex in the Trans-Baikal Territory, the press service of the district reported on Monday.
"As part of the training, the servicemen made a mechanized march to the designated area, after which, as part of the crews, they completed tasks to reduce the reconnaissance and offensive effectiveness of special means of communication and reconnaissance of a conditional enemy," the report says.
Calculations of electronic warfare systems "Palantin" worked out the protection of troops from aerial attacks by unmanned aircraft, violated the guidance of conventional weapons of mass destruction, and also discovered, escorted and blocked cellular and trunking communication channels.
