The large anti-submarine ship Admiral Panteleev of the Pacific Fleet made a scheduled call at the port of Manila (Republic of the Philippines) to replenish supplies and food.
Ilya Kolesnikov, head of the Information support Department of the Air Defense Press Service for the Pacific Fleet, told RG that the ship is returning to its home base in Vladivostok after participating in the joint naval exercises of Russia and the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) - "ARNEX-2021" in the area of Ve Island off the coast of Indonesia.
These exercises were held for the first time in history. The ships of Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei and Myanmar participated in them. The crews of the ships worked out joint tactical maneuvering, organization of communication and rescue at sea, as well as the algorithm of actions during the inspection operation of a suspicious vessel.
After resupply in the Philippine port, the ship will continue to move to the main base of the Pacific Fleet.

The large anti-submarine ship of the Pacific Fleet Admiral Panteleev of Project 1155 is the last Soviet warship. It was laid down in 1987 at the Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad and launched in 1988. Joined the fleet on May 1, 1992.
