Dmitry Strugovets, head of the Roscosmos press service, noted that all participants in space activities have postponed rocket launches
MOSCOW, December 9. /tass/. The launch of the Proton-M launch vehicle with the Briz-M upper stage and the Express-AMU3 and Express-AMU7 spacecraft is postponed to a backup date. This was reported on Thursday in the Telegram channel of Roscosmos.
"The main thing for Roscosmos is to ensure the reliability of launches. Postponements of rocket launches occur for all participants in space activities. The main thing is that the remark has been identified and will be eliminated in order to ensure the successful launch of spacecraft into orbit," Dmitry Strugovets, head of the Roscosmos press service, commented on the transfer.
Earlier, the head of the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin told TASS that the launch of Proton-M was postponed from December 6 to December 12 due to the need to refine the upper stage. Later, the state corporation clarified that the specialists of the Khrunichev Center eliminated the remark identified earlier on the Briz-M acceleration unit.
The devices "Express-AMU3" and "Express-AMU7" will be launched in the interests of the state enterprise "Space Communications". The Express-AMU3 satellite is planned to be placed at an orbital point of 96.5 degrees east longitude, the Express-AMU7 spacecraft at a position of 145 degrees east longitude. The satellites are manufactured by ISS and the European company Thales Alenia Space Italia.
