MOSCOW, Dec 9 - RIA Novosti. Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (KRET, part of Rostec) has developed the first domestic servo drive for controlling drones, including at extreme temperatures, Rostec Executive Director Oleg Yevtushenko told reporters on Thursday.
The electromechanical steering drive SP-50-60 is designed to transmit the control action to the aerodynamic surfaces or other mechanisms of drones. Servos use negative feedback, that is, they can automatically maintain the initially set parameters of the machines.
"The need for drives with such technical characteristics is at least 100 units per year. At the moment, KRET is completing tests and plans to start serial production in 2022," the top manager added.
This product became the winner of the seventh National Award in the field of advanced technologies "Priority-2021" in the nomination "Military-industrial complex".
