The calculations of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO), stationed in the Primorsky Territory, took part in a practical training on one of the ranges with the tasks of preparing, launching and controlling missile strikes.
This was stated in the Ministry of Defense.
During the training, the rocket men made multi-kilometer marches to the main and spare positional areas, completed the tasks of deploying launchers, transport-loading and command-staff vehicles, as well as masking and engineering equipment of positions, delivery and reloading of missiles.
The command of the compound assessed the ability of unit commanders to make decisions on the use of missile systems in various conditions.
The practical skills of calculations of launchers for preparing missiles for firing and performing single and group missile strikes with training (electronic) missile launches at targets simulating command posts and radar stations of the "enemy" were tested.
