Ekaterinburg. December 9th. INTERFAX - Medical units of the Central Military District (CVO) for the first time received new-generation AP-3 auto-dressings in 2021, the press service of the CVO reported on Thursday.
"The new vehicles have been delivered to the formations and military units of the Central Military District stationed in the Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg and Samara regions," the report says.
The AP-3 auto-dressing station is designed to deliver medical personnel to areas of mass sanitary losses to provide first aid to the wounded during combat operations.
The main advantage of the AP-3 over earlier models is the increased patency of the "flow" of victims, which is provided by a special turntable with a lifting mechanism, the Central Military District clarified.
