The launch was postponed to December 11
TASS, December 8. The American company Blue Origin postponed the launch of the New Shepard spacecraft with space tourists from December 9 to December 11 due to adverse weather conditions. The company announced this on its Twitter page on Wednesday.
"Now the launch is scheduled for Saturday due to the predicted winds. Takeoff is scheduled for 08:45 local time (17:45 Moscow time - approx. TASS)," the message reads.
Earlier it was reported that the space tourists on board the spacecraft will be the co-host of the show Good Morning America ("Good morning America") Michael Strahan, the eldest daughter of the first American astronaut Alan Shepard Laura Shepard Churchley, philanthropist Dylan Taylor, investor Evan Dick, entrepreneur Lane Bess and his son Cameron Bess.
