Moscow. December 8th. INTERFAX - The All-Russian Research and Testing Institute of Medical Equipment of Roszdravnadzor (VNIIIMT) has become part of the Medical Equipment consortium, the press service of the Shvabe Holding, which was the founder of this consortium, reports.
"In November, VNIIIMT joined the consortium. The main goal of this interaction is the development of domestic production of medical devices and the process of their circulation on the Russian market," the message said on Wednesday.
According to Sergey Dmitrochenko, Deputy General Director of Shvabe, together with other partners, Shvabe Holding expects to create a single circuit of testing centers and research laboratories, whose work will be focused on assessing the compliance of medical products with the standards established in the Russian Federation, primarily in terms of safety.
"For its part, the holding, as the founder of the consortium, is ready to involve its own resources in this process, including expert staff with leading scientists of our industry," Dmitrochenko said.
It will be reported that cooperation with VNIIIMT is supposed to be carried out in the areas of development of methodological and regulatory framework in the field of standardization and evaluation of medical equipment, creation of professional development programs for specialized specialists.
