INTERFAX-URAL - The command staff of the Central Military District (CVO) will study new methods of combating sabotage and reconnaissance units of a conditional enemy and illegal armed formations during an operational training camp on December 14-17 in the Orenburg region, the press service of the CVO reported on Tuesday.
"The operational combat training will be organized in the form of lectures and practical exercises, during which army commanders, brigade and regiment commanders will study in detail the forms and methods of organizing combat operations in conditions of active use by the enemy of special operations forces, sabotage and reconnaissance groups and actions of gangs, including in difficult climatic conditions," the message says.
In addition, the participants of the gathering will be shown the basic elements of building a security and defense system, as well as comprehensive support of troops in the combat area.
The gathering will take place from December 14 to 17 at the training ground in the Orenburg region under the leadership of the commander of the Central Military District Alexander Lapin.
"More than 300 officers and generals of formations and military units of the Central Military District will take part in the gathering," the press service added.
