Vladivostok. December 6th. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - The large anti-submarine ship Admiral Panteleev of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) has begun the transition from Indonesia to Vladivostok after participating in the ARNEX-2021 exercise, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reports.
The joint exercises of Russia and the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) were organized for the first time and took place in the area of Ve Island in Indonesia.
"The ships of Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei and Myanmar participated in the naval exercises of the ASEAN countries. During the exercise, the crews of the ships worked out joint tactical maneuvering, communication organization and rescue at sea," the report says.
