Roscosmos: the transfer of oxygen to hospitals can disrupt the timing of testing rocket engines.
The state corporation stressed that they will have to be shifted due to the redirection of supplies to medical organizations fighting the coronavirus.
"The shortage of liquid oxygen and the uncertainty of the timing of the resumption of its supplies to the organizations of the rocket and space industry lead to the impossibility of conducting tests of liquid rocket engines in 2021 and shifting to 2022," the explanatory note to the project published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts says Moscow.
Roscosmos wants to introduce delays in the execution of all contracts between the corporation and the Ministry of Defense related to the use of liquid oxygen. Performers of contracts in this case will be released from penalties.
