Khabarovsk. December 1st. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - The Eastern Military District will hold more than 2 thousand special exercises in 2022, the press service of the Air Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
"For the new academic year, more than 9 thousand training events have been planned for military command and control bodies, troops (forces) of the Air Defense Forces, including more than 2 thousand command and staff, tactical and tactical-special exercises," the report says.
It is noted that the main emphasis will be placed on preparation for the strategic command and staff exercise "Vostok-2022".
A new school year has been launched in the district's troops. As noted by the commander of the Air Defense Forces, Hero of Russia Colonel-General Alexander Chaiko, quoted by the press service, during the training of servicemen, "the introduction of the experience of modern armed conflicts into the combat training system will continue, while most tactical exercises will be conducted in a bilateral format."
