"In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a fire alarm went off at the Y.M. Sverdlov plant, then several pops occurred. Explosives may be located on the territory of the plant," the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation said in a statement.
It is noted that information has also been received about the victims, while their number is not specified.
The press service added that fire departments moved to the place, the information is being clarified.
