"Serial production of "Zircons" is already underway in the NPO of mechanical Engineering, although state tests of this product from a surface carrier will continue," he said.

It was also reported that two launches of the Zircon from the nuclear submarine Severodvinsk, conducted for the first time on October 4, opened the way for state tests of the missile from a surface carrier.
On August 24, at the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum, a contract was signed for the supply of Zircons to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
