Rosoboronexport will offer the latest kamikaze drones and drones for export for the first time

MOSCOW, Nov 25 - RIA Novosti. Rosoboronexport plans to bring heavy attack drones and kamikaze drones to foreign arms markets in the near future, this year it sold 50 Orlan-10E reconnaissance UAVs abroad, the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev said on Thursday on the eve of the EDEX 2021 international arms exhibition.

The event will take place from November 29 to December 2 in Cairo (Egypt).

"Rosoboronexport notes a serious increase in the interest of foreign partners in Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicles. In 2021, the Orion-E reconnaissance and strike aircraft was brought to the foreign market and now we are conducting more than 10 contract negotiations on it. In addition, more than 50 Orlan-10E drones have already been delivered to customers this year. We are preparing to launch new models in the near future, including kamikaze drones and heavy attack vehicles," Mikheev said.

It is expected that at the Egyptian arms exhibition, the Russian special exporter will present more than 350 samples of products, including in the form of models: the Yak-130 combat training aircraft, the Mi-35M transport and combat helicopter, the Ka-31 radar patrol helicopter and the Rubezh-ME tactical coastal missile system.

In addition, at the Rosoboronexport stand, Remdiesel will present models of Typhoon and Tornado cars, the Kalashnikov Concern will demonstrate a wide range of small arms, including the Lebedev pistol, Kalashnikov assault rifles of the hundredth and two hundredth series, the most modern models of the Kalashnikov AK-15, AK-19 and AK-308, as well as the newest PPK-20 submachine gun.

The world's largest manufacturer of armored vehicles, Uralvagonzavod Concern, will show models of the bestsellers of the arms market - the T-90MS tank and the Terminator BMPT, which are extremely popular in the Middle East and Africa, and the Petrovsky Plant will show a model of the latest anti–tank anti-wing mine PTKM-1R.
