Kiev. November 24. INTERFAX-UKRAINE - Strike and fighter aircraft of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Tuesday evening worked out air strikes against the enemy at the ranges "Wide Lan" and "Kiev-Alexandrovsky", the press service of the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"Strike aviation - Su-24M and Su-25 aircraft, under the cover of MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters, carried out missile and bomb attacks on ground targets. After that, the fighters practiced air battles and carried out simulated strikes on ground and surface targets in the Black Sea," a message on the command's Facebook page said on Tuesday evening.
It is noted that during the training, a flight of fighters intercepted an AN-26 military transport aircraft captured by terrorists. MiG-29 fighters forced the plane to land at a certain airfield, where the soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine worked out anti-terrorist measures.
