Eight-year-old Yarina Zakalyuzhnaya from the city of Zhytomyr won the drawing contest of the European Space Agency, now a copy of her work will be applied to the body of the Ariane 5 rocket, which will go into space in 2023. 2600 children from 63 countries of the world took part in the international drawing contest. 12 artists became finalists, but the organizers awarded the victory to Zakalyuzhnaya. The girl's father Leonid Zakalyuzhny said that his daughter has been drawing since the age of two. "They promise that Yarinka's drawing will be depicted on a rocket that will put the interplanetary station into orbit, and then it will fly to Jupiter," he said.
The launch of the Ariane 5 rocket is scheduled for 2023, it will launch a spacecraft into space to study Jupiter. If the epidemic situation in the world improves, then in 2023 Yarina, together with her parents, will be able to attend the launch of this rocket, the newspaper notes.
