TSAMTO, November 22. The Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy and the training centers of the armed forces successfully work out training tasks on a modern training base.
The training process involves a modern simulator "Rage" for the preparation of calculations of launchers of the Iskander-M missile complex and a modern computer artillery range "Arterra-VT-3D", which allows for the training of military officers from the platoon commander to the commander of the artillery unit.
In the educational process of the Mikhailovsky Academy, a single complex of training facilities of the Iskander-M missile system is actively used.
Also, currently, in the interests of missile troops and artillery, the development of simulators for modern 2S19M2 howitzers "Msta-S" and MLRS "Tornado-S" is being completed. In addition, within the framework of the ROC "Outline", the development of simulators for promising weapons samples, such as the Coalition-SV interspecific artillery complex and mortar complexes on various base chassis, has begun.
One of the directions of development of educational and training facilities is the creation of virtual simulators for testing individual and group standards on samples of modern and promising equipment, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
