SIMFEROPOL, Nov 22 - RIA Novosti. Combat crews of anti-aircraft complexes conducted exercises in the Crimea to destroy cruise missiles of a simulated enemy, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reports.
"Combat crews of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems and the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems conducted a planned exercise to search for and destroy air targets. The servicemen worked out the tasks of detecting, tracking and destroying cruise missiles of a simulated enemy," the report says.
Conventional cruise missiles were electronically simulated with various flight speed and altitude parameters, which complicated the defeat of objects by combat calculations.
"The calculations of the Triumph air defense system and the Pantsir air defense system have successfully completed their tasks," the press service stressed.
